馃挜 Customs Support Group Poland (Rusak) informs:
鈩癸笍 The Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) system is expanding its operations across the European Union, simplifying the customs clearance process at the border.
馃搯 As of September 30, 2024, Croatia has joined the CCI system, marking the start of its first phase, which previously included 8 other countries, including Poland, Spain, and Estonia.
馃敻 The CCI system digitizes the centralized customs clearance process, allowing trusted traders to submit customs declarations at one central customs office, regardless of where the goods are physically located.
馃憠 Key benefits for businesses include:
- Faster customs clearance and elimination of transit procedures
- Cost reduction and decreased administrative burden through a single point of contact
- Increased transparency and compliance with customs regulations across the EU
馃敇 In subsequent phases, scheduled for 2025, the CCI system will also include simplified customs procedures, excise goods, and trade with areas of special tax status.
